FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

So, how long will it take to see results?

Many people will take glyconutrients for the first few days and have tremendous and seemingly miraculous results. Many will not.
Glyconutrients are food, not drugs. We cannot predict the reaction time as you can with drugs. We are used to a doctor diagnosing a problem, prescribing a synthetic drug, and saying “Well, for this situation one pill three times a day for ten days” as an example.
In order for your body to do what it was designed to do for your health, it must have the tools it was designed to have. All cells have different life-spans and there is no way to predict which cells will be glycosylated with any given serving of glyconutrients. To complicate matters some cells have a glycosylation life of as little as ten days.

For this reason it is recommend everyone use glyconutrients as part of their daily health plan for their entire life. Don’t think of them as a drug to get rid of symptoms but rather as part of a new lifestyle plan to support optimal wellness for the rest of your life”.

What are glyconutrients, and how do they work?

Glyconutrients are nutritional sugars, and are not to be confused with the processed refined white sugar that is found in candy or cookies and can harm the body. Glyconutrients are healthy, unprocessed, and  natural sugars that can be found in plants. These safe and healthy sugars are technically known as “complex carbohydrates”, and have extremely vital functions in the body.

Simply put, glyconutrients are like a key that opens the door. These natural sugars reside on the hair-like protein stems of every cell, and enables the cells to correctly communicate one with another. Once they have had their simple but extremely important “conversation", the cells become active and perform vital functions. These vital functions can include the promotion of cellular communication, triggering the proper immune response, and restoring the metabolism — the sum of the biological and chemical processes in the body — to proper working condition. As a result of assisting with these vital functions, glyconutrients may play a vital role in addressing a variety of diseases.

What are Nutraceuticals?

The next era of nutrition will focus on pharmaceutical grade research and development of natural occurring properties provided from sources such as plants, fruits, and vegetables, which aid, enhance, and facilitate your body's natural functions.  Nutraceutical is the new term used by the Food and Nutrition Board of the Institute of Medicine to describe these newly discovered food/nutrition products with a proven effect on the human body.

Are glyconutrients sugars, carbohydrates or saccharides?

They are all three. The words are often used interchangeably to  describe the molecular structure of the chains.

04

Are these sugars safe?

Your body was designed to use glyco nutrients, to incorporate them into your glyco proteins. As such, they are an essential part of the diet. They are foods, not drugs. They have NO toxic or side effects. Five of the eight are found in human breast milk, (one of the reasons why babies are protected from disease by breast feeding)

Glyconutrients are called 'sugars' can you take them if you are a  diabetic?

To the lay public sugars are the villains behind expanding waistlines and rotting teeth. But sugars -or more properly- the complex sugars called glycans are now recognised as critical mediators of cell-to-cell communication. The glyconutrients in Glycell don’t cause insulin problems for diabetics because the amounts of glucose in the average daily supplement is low and the other 7 essential glyconutrients have lower glycemic indexes. If you are either type I or II diabetic you should ask your doctor about taking Glycell –give him or her the information of Glycell. Under a doctor's direction, reduction of diabetic drugs or insulin should become necessary as the body is enabled to control the diabetes. The glucose in Glycell is from a predigestive form of monosaccharides.[and not a digestive form]

Why has my doctor never heard of glyconutrients?

Most physicians attended medical school before this technology began being published so profusely. It wasn't until 1996 that one of the primary medical textbooks, Harper's Biochemistry, published a chapter on glyconutrients. Although there are nearly 5,000 articles published daily pertaining to glycobiology, it is still not common knowledge. Physicians are inundated with new information primarily from pharmaceutical companies and this product being a neutraceutical, it is less known by today's doctors.

Can I take glyconutrients with my other supplements?

Glyconutrients will not interfere with your other supplements. Actually, they may enhance the results you get from your other supplements.

Can I give glyconutrients to my child?

Yes, glyconutrients are entirely safe, even for children.

Can the human body make glyconutrients?

Your modern day diet provides – at best – only two of these essential nutrients. They are glucose and galactose. The body is therefore forced to manufacture the other six. Unfortunately it is very difficult (if not impossible) for the body to continually synthesize adequate amounts of the missing sugars. It takes an enormous amount of energy – as much as 37 enzymatic steps - and anything such as stress, poor nutrition, toxins, lack of sleep, pharmaceutical drugs, autoimmune disorders or any existing illness will stop this process immediately.

Is Glycell a miracle cure or are the results people are seeing a placebo effect?

Glycell is neither a miracle cure nor is the effect of taking Glycell a result of the placebo effect. Glycell is not a miracle cure - they support the body to do what it was designed to do, to heal, repair, regenerate, regulate and protect it self. If it was a result of the placebo effect, we would see little scientific evidence to support the results. A placebo effect is also short lived, and the results people are experiencing are long term. Results are also occurring in folks who have been sceptical and young infants who have no expectation.

If glucose and galactose are in our food why are they in Glycell?

Although two of these sugars -glucose and galactose- are found in the food we eat their presence is important when the other 6 sugars are taken.
The essential glyconutrients work best as a team and most have overlapping functions in the body, so supplementation with essential sugars works best when they are taken in combination. When formulated together, the absorption of each glyconutrient is enhanced. Of course Glycell contains of all eight essential sugars.
The glucose in Glycell is from a predigestive form of monosaccharides.[and not a digestive form]

Is Glycell’s natural food supplement safe?

Glycell’s natural food supplement is made by stabilizing glyconutrient molecules that have been extracted from plants. In trials, Glycell has been proven to be safe, and non-toxic, with no known side effects. Glycell is not disease specific or symptom specific.
In some cases the glyconutrients ability to promote healing, leads to the prescription drugs needing to be reduced. Ask your doctor to monitor your drugs to see if or when you might need to reduce their dosage.

I have heard and read that people have been cured of various diseases using Glyconutrients?

First of all there is no one magic bullet for any type of disease and if someone tells you that one supplement, one modality or one anything will cure a particular disease then that should be a huge red flag to you because it is not the truth, but hype. According to medical science there is no cure for most disease. However, nature has placed healing mechanisms into the body that will help the body to repair and heal on its own, if and when the body is treated correctly. The immune system is one of those mechanisms put in place by nature in order to help the body recognize pathogens and take them out of the body quickly. For many people glyconutrients could be a “piece” to their healing puzzle.
